Skype emmadramaworks

No prior experience of drama is necessary as dramatherapy is not about being good at drama but about making contact with ourselves and others.

"The children in the group were observed developing stronger friendships and a sense of community which in turn extended to the class.  In particular there were two children who struggled to work and play together prior to the project, by the end of the sessions, the relational conflict between them had reduced and subsequently the learning of their classmates was disrupted less.

"The sibling group after school gave children a time and place to explore              their relationship and several of the families have reported that their                  children seem much calmer together and are playing more co-

operatively at home".

SENCo, Seymour Primary, Crawley

"We have absolutely valued             Storywork's contribution towards the             emotional well being of our children and feedback from the groups has been great".

                                  SENCo. Westdene Primary,

"Emma allows for re-working of experiences that have not always been dealt with, leading to greater clarity in self-perception as well as enhanced relationships with other people and within families.

"Storyworks completely and professionally coordinates the administration processes for working within school and they have greatly developed the school’s SEND practice to make sure all children get a consistent, high quality response to meeting their needs in school. Thank you!"

Headteacher, West Kent

"Emma is a profoundly intuitive dramatherapist able to meet all needs with genuine care and expertise which reaches great depths in our school community. Within her work Emma has also modelled an empathetic and skilled practice that we have learned a great deal from. I could not recommend Emma and Storyworks enough - a visionary company able to hold, contain and be alongside the school in an exciting journey.

"Storyworks offers a series of workshops and sessions using drama to consider individual and whole group issues, (sometimes parents work alongside their children too!) and dilemmas such as self-esteem, confidence, peer pressure, bullying, challenging family and relationship situations etc.

years after they have finished".
